We are delighted to announce that we won an award at this year’s prestigious Business Excellence Awards. Having been announced as finalists for the Training Programme of the Year Award in December, we were absolutely thrilled to find out on the night that we had won!
Organised by The News, Portsmouth and held at Portsmouth Guildhall, the awards evening was one not to be missed. At the black tie affair, the evening brought together local business leaders to celebrate Portsmouth’s business success and achievements. The awards ranged from Entrepreneur of the Year and Apprentice of the Year, to those celebrating Diversity, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. There were many fantastic nominees and a total of 15 deserving winners, including M12 Solutions.
It was brilliant chance to meet other local business leaders and share success stories. For the team at M12, it is particularly nice to be recognised locally, as a lot of the awards we win are national comms industry or customer service awards, rather than local ones from our own community.

The News said that for this award, the judges were looking out for a firm that demonstrated a real commitment to motivating and developing their team.
M12 boasts some of the best retention figures in the market, including employees that have been with us since our inception in 2003. Over the years, the leadership team have committed more than ever on staff engagement initiatives with away days, performance and development programmes, social activities and charity initiatives. As we launched our Internet brand Giganet in 2018, this prompted rapid growth of the team and an increased importance placed on training.

Commenting on our win, Marketing Manager Ruth said: “It is such a privilege to be recognised locally for our achievements and the awards evening was an amazing way to celebrate. M12 is a brilliant place to work and we place a lot of emphasis on training, empowering and motivating our staff. On average our employees have been with us for 8 years, which is a great achievement, especially in this industry.”
