Yesterday we took part in our third annual cake day, as part of Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’. Many of our team in the Fareham office baked some tasty cakes and savouries to enjoy. We had so many treats, including cookies, cupcakes, flapjack, samosas, pizza, cheesecake, and a very sparkly unicorn cake! Here are some of the photos from the day:

Before the end of the day everybody voted for their favourite treat, with our Sales Manager Mel being crowned Best Baker…she even got a badge to prove it! Her coconut oat flapjack won the taste test, although arguably our Customer Service Executive Amy’s ‘Sparkles The Unicorn’ cake was the most eye-catching!

We would like to give a big shout out to local businesses Trenchers, Caffe Nero, K:Spa and Solent Hotel and Spa, who all donated vouchers to be used as prizes in our raffle. The raffle is usually the part of the day that raises the most money, and this year we sold over 300 tickets!

So now I am pleased to announce that our grand total raised, was…

£205!

This absolutely smashes last year’s total of £155, and the previous year’s total of £134. So thank you to everyone who baked, ate and donated! All money raised goes to Macmillan Cancer Support, whose aim is to make sure no-one faces cancer alone.
